Rate limits

Per organization and environment, in three buckets: reads, writes and asks.

Buckets#

Each organization has one bucket per environment for each kind of operation, so a sandbox load test never eats the live bucket:

  • read — offices.list, offices.get, turns.get, matters.list, record.get, events.list, files.get, usage.get, webhooks.list
  • write — offices.create, offices.delete, webhooks.create, webhooks.delete
  • ask — ask

Past a limit: 429 rate_limited with Retry-After.
