## Where Perplexity alone falls short for decisions

Perplexity is structurally a search tool with AI synthesis on top. It is excellent at finding *facts*. It is not built to disagree with itself, evaluate tradeoffs from multiple cognitive frames, or remember your past decisions.

When you ask Perplexity "should we raise prices?" it will return cited articles about pricing strategy. Useful as input. Not a decision.
