## What ChatGPT cannot do well

ChatGPT optimizes for user satisfaction. RLHF training pulls it toward agreement, even when disagreement would be more accurate. Anthropic published research showing models will change correct answers to incorrect ones when users express doubt. OpenAI documented the same pattern.

For strategic decisions, this is fatal. You ask if your idea is good, you get a list of reasons it might work. You ask the same question with pessimistic framing, you get a list of reasons it might fail. ChatGPT cannot pressure-test your reasoning because it cannot disagree with you.

ChatGPT also has no memory of past decisions, no awareness of outcomes, no governance layer for taking actions. These are not features missing from a chat product — they are features required by a *decision* product, which is a different category.
