# SynthBoard for Teams

## What this is for

Teams making strategic calls together — exec teams, leadership groups, product councils, operating partner pods, agency operating teams. The job is the same as solo SynthBoard: bring a decision, run a board, get a synthesized recommendation. The added layer is everything that lets a team operate together: shared visibility, comment threads, role-based permissions, and a decision archive.

## Capabilities

### Shared sessions
Any team member can run a board on a shared decision. Everyone with access sees the live session, can ask follow-ups, and can react to specific Synth claims.

### Role-based access
- **Owner** — full admin, billing, member management.
- **Manager** — invite/remove members, manage shared decisions.
- **Member** — run sessions, see shared decisions.
- **Viewer** — read-only access to shared decisions.

### Decision archive
Every captured decision (with the full audit trail) lives in the team archive. Search by topic, owner, date, outcome status. Useful for retrospectives — see how every decision in Q3 played out.

### Outcome accountability
When a decision is captured against a team member, outcomes from connected tools (revenue movements, shipped tickets, hires made) feed back automatically. The team gets a decision-quality scorecard rather than a vibe.

### Comment threads on Synth claims
Team members can comment directly on a specific Synth's claim or counter-argument. "The Skeptic raised this — we should validate it before launch." Comments persist in the session record.

### Shared integrations
Connect once at the team level (Linear, Notion, Slack, etc.). Sessions across the team can leverage the connections without each person re-authing.

### Audit log export
Every session, every decision, every action — exportable in JSON or CSV for your SIEM, BI stack, or compliance archive. Available on Ultra and Enterprise.

## Privacy and data isolation

- Team data is per-tenant isolated at the database layer. Other teams (and other tenants) cannot see your sessions.
- Members see only the sessions they have access to. Sharing is opt-in, per-session.
- Audit trail is immutable.
- Removing a member revokes their session access immediately.

## Compared to

- **Slack threads.** Useful for discussion. Not a decision instrument.
- **Notion templates.** Useful for documentation. Not where the analysis happens.
