# Integrations

> SynthBoard connects to 62 integration providers across 22 categories — Gmail, Slack, Linear, Notion, HubSpot, Stripe, Salesforce, GitHub, and the rest of the modern operator stack. Connections are OAuth-based, tenant-isolated, and used for two purposes: **outcome inference** (the board learns from real signal) and **action execution** (the board takes actions with your approval).

## What integrations do

### 1. Outcome inference
When you connect Stripe, Linear, Calendar, Gmail, etc., SynthBoard's outcome-inferred decision loop pulls *signal* about what actually happened after a decision was captured. Did revenue move? Did the ticket ship? Did the meeting actually happen? The board learns from these signals automatically — you do not have to log outcomes by hand.

### 2. Action execution
When a session yields a recommended action — send this email, create this ticket, push this calendar invite, post this Slack message — the action is executed against the connected tool with your approval. Risk-tier actions require explicit confirmation. Every action is reversible inside 30 seconds.

## How connections work

1. Go to your dashboard → **Integrations**.
2. Click **Connect** on a provider.
3. OAuth handshake redirects to the provider, you approve the scopes.
4. Token is stored encrypted, scoped to your tenant, and used only for SynthBoard sessions.
5. You can revoke any connection any time from the same page.

## Per-tool approval pipeline

Every action the board attempts to execute via an integration goes through a per-tool approval pipeline:

- **Read-only operations** (inferring outcomes, reading recent emails for context) — auto-approved unless you opt out.
- **Low-risk write operations** (sending a draft to your own inbox, creating a private note) — auto-approved on Pro+ if you opt in.
- **Standard write operations** (sending an email, creating a ticket, posting in a channel) — require explicit confirmation per action.
- **High-risk operations** (mass send, financial actions, destructive operations) — require dual confirmation and additional friction.

You set risk thresholds per integration in your settings.

## Native adapters

For users on Zapier, n8n, Make, Pipedream, Activepieces, or Arcade, SynthBoard ships native adapters — one-click each. See [adapters](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/adapters).

## Tier availability

- Free / Pro: read access, no auto-execution.
- Max: full read + action execution with approval.
- Ultra: full read + action execution + custom integration endpoints.
- Enterprise: custom integration via private connectors + audit log export.

## Privacy and security

- Tokens encrypted at rest (AES-256). At-rest keys rotated quarterly.
- Tokens scoped to your tenant. Per-user data isolation is enforced at the database layer.
- We do not train models on integration data.
- Revoking a connection invalidates all stored tokens immediately.
- Audit log records every action executed via integration.

See [security posture](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/security) for the full posture.
