# Quickstart — Your First Minutes on SynthBoard

> Sign up, tell your Chief of Staff what you are carrying, bring a real call, and tap the card when it needs an expert. No card required.

## Step 1 — Sign up

[https://www.synthboard.ai](https://www.synthboard.ai/auth/signup) — email or Google. Free to start, no card. You land on Home: one thread with your Chief of Staff.

## Step 2 — Tell her what you are carrying

Who you are, what you do, what you are in the middle of. The setup panel walks you through it, or just write. She keeps it on file, work and personal in separate contexts, and every fact stays yours to correct or wipe.

## Step 3 — Bring a real call

Specific beats vague. "Raise SMB prices 20% in Q4, or fix onboarding first?" beats "pricing ideas." For example:

- "Should I hire a Head of Growth or a third engineer first?"
- "Is this term sheet aggressive enough?"
- "Two offers on the table — which one?"

If she can answer it herself, she does. If it needs judgment, she hands you a card — one named expert for a consult, or a board for the biggest calls — with the time and the price on it. A board's seats depend on your plan: Free up to 3, Pro up to 8, Max up to 12, Ultra up to 12.

## Step 4 — Tap, then act on what comes back

Nothing runs until you tap the card. When the room lands she brings it back in a few sentences — the call, the one caution, what to do now — and the first move becomes a commitment with a date. Open the room in place to read it whole.

## What to do next

- **Connect a tool.** [Integrations](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/integrations) — connect Notion, Gmail, Slack or Linear and she reads your real work, and says what she read. A write is a preview you confirm (on Pro and above).
- **Bring the next call.** What you decided stays on file; when a new ask would reverse it, she names it first.

## Beyond the web UI

Boards and consults also run from Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, ChatGPT and other MCP clients, and from automation platforms like Zapier and n8n through the [REST API](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/api) and [webhooks](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/webhooks). Same experts, same record, same credits.
