You bring a hard call, the board (2–12 expert Synths) debates it across rounds and produces a synthesized recommendation with consensus scoring. **How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?** Single-AI tools optimize for helpfulness, which collapses into agreement. SynthBoard runs multiple Synths who argue, take positions, and resist sycophancy. The product is structured disagreement, not chat. **How is this different from CrewAI / AutoGen / LangGraph?** Those are developer toolkits — you write code to assemble multi-agent systems. SynthBoard is the productized form: 24 pre-built expert Synths, 10 session modes, no code required. We also expose REST + MCP if you want both. **What does a session look like?** Pick a mode (Boardroom, Idea Lab, Lightning Round, The Arena, Shark Tank, Command Center, War Room, Deep Dive, Crystal Ball, Research Lab). Pick 2–12 Synths. Bring your decision. Run. The board debates across 2–4 rounds. You get a synthesized recommendation with consensus scoring. **How long does a session take?** Lightning Round: 30–90 seconds. Standard Boardroom: 2–4 minutes. Deep Dive with frontier models: 5–10 minutes. ## Account & billing **Do I need a credit card to start?** No. Free tier is forever-free, no card. **How do credits work?** Pricing is credit-based and usage-driven. Each session debits credits based on Synths used, model class, and depth. You see the live cost estimate before each run. **Do credits roll over?** Subscription credits reset each billing cycle. Top-up credits never expire. **What happens if I run out of credits?** The board pauses gracefully. You get a notification with a one-click top-up flow. No surprise charges. **Can I cancel any time?** Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle. No proration, no penalty. **Do you offer refunds?** All purchases are final and non-refundable per our [terms](https://www.synthboard.ai/legal/terms). If you have a billing issue, email support@synthboard.ai and we will work with you. **Annual discount?** ~17% off list on Pro, Max, and Ultra when paid annually. **Enterprise pricing?** Custom. Contact enterprise@synthboard.ai with team size and compliance needs. ## Privacy & data **Do you train models on my session data?** No. We do not train any model on customer data, ours or our providers'. Confirmed contractually with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. **Are my sessions private?** Yes. Session data is per-user isolated at the database layer. Only your account (and explicit collaborators on Enterprise team workspaces) can access them. **Where is my data stored?** US-East by default. EU data residency available on Enterprise. **Can I delete my account and all data?** Yes, at any time, from your dashboard. Hard deletion completes within 30 days. ## Integrations **How many integrations do you support?** 62 providers across 22 categories. List in [/docs/integrations](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/integrations). **What can integrations do?** Two things: (1) outcome inference — the board learns from real signal in your tools, (2) action execution — the board can take actions against your tools with your approval. **Are integrations safe?** Tokens are encrypted at rest, scoped to your tenant, and used only for SynthBoard sessions. You can revoke any integration any time. **Do I have to grant write access?** No. Read-only is the default. Write access is opt-in per integration, with per-action approval gates. ## Developer **Is there a REST API?** Yes, available on Ultra and Enterprise. See [/api](https://www.synthboard.ai/api). **Is there an MCP server?** Yes, available on every tier including Free. See [/mcp](https://www.synthboard.ai/mcp). **What MCP clients are supported?** Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, ChatGPT (Connectors), VS Code Copilot, and any MCP 1.0+ client. **Are there webhooks?** Yes, available on Pro+. See [/docs/webhooks](https://www.synthboard.ai/docs/webhooks). ## Tier limits **Why are some modes Pro-only?** The four free modes (Boardroom, Idea Lab, Lightning Round, The Arena) are the right starter set. Shark Tank, Command Center, and War Room are pressure-tested for real decisions and require premium models, which is the Pro tier line. Deep Dive, Crystal Ball, and Research Lab use frontier models for the highest-stakes calls — Max tier. **Can I use frontier models on Pro?** No, frontier models start at Max. Pro uses premium models (GPT-4o, Claude Sonnet, Gemini Pro), which are excellent for most decisions. Frontier (Opus, GPT-4.5/o3, Gemini Ultra) is reserved for Max+ where unit economics support it. ## Trust & safety **Can SynthBoard send emails / take actions on my behalf?** Only with your explicit approval, only on Max+ tiers, and every action is reversible inside 30 seconds. **What if a Synth gives me bad advice?** SynthBoard is a decision intelligence tool, not a fiduciary. Always validate critical recommendations with humans (your CFO, lawyer, doctor, advisor). The product surfaces structured disagreement; the call is yours. **Are recommendations financial / legal / medical advice?** No. We are not licensed financial advisors, lawyers, or medical professionals. The board produces structured analysis, not regulated advice. ## Support **How do I get help?** Email support@synthboard.ai.
